A leading global Fashion and Lifestyle brand, the customer has India’s largest fashion network that includes nearly 2500 brand outlets spanning a number of cities and close to 4,000 department stores across the country.
The Customer has 14 brands, 1 portal for each brand and a few internal B2B applications that were in scope for testing. Their software QA team were trying to manage testing across all their brands with limited resources.
There was abysmal automation.
With algoQA’s Test Case Engine (TCE) and AF (Automation Framework) modules, we implemented testing and test automation covering 11 portals and virtual sites.
We also covered testing for various order scenarios, that includes aspects of Order Processing, from order placements to returns and resend, working on the backend supply chain as well.
The customer was not able to manage testing of all the brand portals and only a few brands were being covered. Post AlgoShack’s engagement, not only did the testing of the number of brands increase but also with a lower number of resources (than the customer). We were able to manage the testing of all brands at a time including mobile apps (android and IOS) and virtual stores. We generated altogether a total of 31,454 test cases and 6,61,113 test steps.
We worked with the clients to help them conduct testing for their hyperlocal functionality as well as streamoid. Catalog Management and testing was challenging, considering their products were posted across 3rd Party Market places such as Nykaa, LimeRoad, Flipkart, Amazon, PayTM and so on. We helped the customer with their catalog management testing across third party marketplaces as well.
